Bryn's first day of kindergarten
Each school day should start with a nutritious breakfast (at our house today that would be cheese and pretzels - the breakfast of champions, right?)
We made it out of the house on time and learned that traffic does get kind of backed up during the school year when the Middle School is only a block away!
Look at this face - so sad to be leaving Mom (or just tired of Mom taking pictures!)
All settled in at her desk and ready to go!
All the agonizing about starting school - public, private, none at all (kindergarten isn't mandatory in Kansas) is officially over. I walked Bryn into her first day of school at Genesis Christian Academy, stuffed her supplies into her cubby and left her in the capable hands of her teacher, Mrs. Field. I think she has been a little nervous even though she wouldn't really admit as much. No tears this morning from Bryn or Mom and she didn't even blink as I left the classroom. Another milestone passed...

Oh I love the pics, I LOVE first day of school pictures! Those first 2 are my favs. Hope it's going well and that you're feeling good. I'm still trying to catch up after my trip!
Where is Debi?
Awww, she's so sweet! She's so brave!!! Had to laugh at her breakfast! Sounds about like how we do it here, LOL!!
Gail-
Debi's computer is on the fritz...when I talked to her last Tuesday, it was in the shop. I am expecting her back any day...I am hoping anyway as I miss her blog dreadfully!
That's so so cool! Thanks for sharing ... by this time she should be home full of stories.
Oh my, Kara. I feel like crying! Bryn looks like such a "big girl"! I cannot wait to hear how her first day went! I'm sure it was great...if ever there was a confident, outgoing little girl, it's Bryn. Takes after her wonderful mama!
School doesn't start here until Sept. 5th. I'm guessing Max's first day of kindergarten will not go nearly so smoothly. (But maybe he'll surprise me.)
Congratulations, Bryn! You've made it to the big leagues!
