Good news and not so good news

Good news-

Our house inspection went pretty well with only a few things needing to be fixed. We should be closing on August 2nd.

Bryn and Aaron had a good time fishing and caught some little fish. I meant to post a picture but can't seem to get to it - maybe tomorrow!

I survived day 1 of vacation Bible school!

Aaron and I had a great time last night at the BBQ hanging out with about 6 other couples from church.

Tomorrow is the last day of my online classes for the summer.

Bad news-

I am trying to get info out of a rock (i.e. doctor's office) as I will likely be going in for exploratory surgery on August 2nd to have a mass checked out. It may just be scar tissue from my c-section, but trying to get info from a surgeon's office is about as painful as dry sockets after having your wisdom teeth pulled (if you haven't experienced it yourself, trust me - EXTREMELY painful!)

So I am trying to focus on the positive and not worry about the rest of it along the way - sometimes that is a lot easier said than done.

Well, August 2nd is certainly shaping up to be a big day, huh?

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry that you're having such problems with your doctor's office! That's the last thing you need at a time like this! When did you find out about this mass? Is it something you discovered on your own, or something that they found when you had your biopsy? Sorry if I'm being too nosy...just tell me so (I won't be offended). I'm sure you know that I'm just concerned. I will be sending all the good vibes I've got your way. Maybe it's a good thing that you'll be so busy packing and whatnot to help keep your mind off of this.

Anyway, Kara, my heart goes out to you...I certainly hope the fall brings you some much deserved relief from stress! What a roller coaster you've been on lately! Love you, girl!

Kara! August 2nd for both things? Whew! You're gonna be worn out. That's so exciting about this house. What a *ugh* about the rock of a doctor's office. I know how that goes. I'm so sorry about the mass they found. If it's not one thing, it's another, huh?! Bless your heart! Keep us posted and know that we're all thinking nothing but good thoughts for you!

Congratulations on the good inspection! That is always a blessing during a stressful time. Sorry to hear about the need for exploratory surgery. I hope all goes well!

Oh my goodness, you poor thing! I can't imagine having anything else to do on the day you close on your new house, but surgery, good grief?! Just think, it will all be over soon and things are going to look so much better. And you'll have all this behind you and be enjoying your new home :)

Take care and keep us updated on things as you can!

Hang in there! And add my good vibes to Debi's. And it is hard to stay focused on the positive. But look at it this way. If you can survive VBS, you can survive anything. Been there, done that, lived to tell about it. You go, girl!
