Still standing

Despite Debi's advice not to say yes to anything else, I ended up subbing for the school secretary yesterday afternoon and participating in a homecoming parade today to pass out flyers for our Wednesday night kids program at church. As a result, I am exhausted. The bright side is this weekend is still activity free!

I had another doctor appointment today and everything seems to be going well. My blood pressure is fine, baby's heartbeat is fine and I should know the results of my 24 hour urine test (nothing more fun than doing that at home for 24 hours) and my glucose tolerance test soon.

Nothing else new around here...just looking forward to a long nap tomorrow and some football tomorrow night!

Ewwww, that glucose test makes me puke. I remember the one I took for Levi. I had to drink the gunk at home. I was out in the backyard drinking it in hopes that the fresh air would make it go down better ... no such luck. Guess the neighbors were wondering what this preggy lady was doing out back drinking and puking, LOL!

Enjoy your relaxing weekend!

Remember that "No." is a complete sentence and requires no elaboration. Unfortunately, I can't remember this often enough myself. But then as someone (I think it might have been Churchill, but I'm not sure) said, "We make a living from what we get. We make a life from what we give." Enjoy your weekend "off."

Are women just genetically programmed to say "Yes", you think? Well, I do hope that you managed to get in some relaxation this weekend! And by that, I do NOT mean cleaning your house!
