Another fun filled weekend here...
Saturday morning I went home decor shopping with some girls from church and found some great things - a mirror for above the fireplace, a cool scrolled wrought iron votive holder for the wall and an elephant head (not a real one!) for our semi - jungle motif living room. While I was gone, Elmer peed on the new carpet in the basement (even with Aaron right there, so Elmer just must have felt like it needed to be done) and the playhouse was delivered 4 hours early (so now there is a HUGE pile of playhouse in the driveway).
As if that wasn't enough fun for one day, we had some friends over to help move some of the bigger items to the basement and Aaron missed a step and did something bad to his ankle. It is nice and swollen and purple and he goes in today to make sure it isn't broken. I figure he was just tired fo me putting him to work and he was looking for an easy out...he assures me that doing his ankle in is not the out he would opt for.
So we missed our childbirth class on Sunday (since we were both so looking forward to it, that was a real tear jerking time) and Aaron's parents came up to help move a few more things downstairs. We now have a couch, loveseat, fridge and cable DVR box (waiting to be hooked up) downstairs so we are about all set.
We didn't have any baby excitement (thank goodness!) and I am now almost 34 weeks and still mostly healthy and not on bedrest - hard to believe, but I am so very thankful!

Oh my gosh...poor Aaron! How did he make out at the doctor's/ER? Geez, I sure hope he's okay!
And soooo glad to hear you're doing so well! I have to admit, every time I don't hear from you for a couple of days, I start getting worried. But wow, wow, wow...you are really getting there! You have now managed to stay on your feet longer than I ever did. I just stuck my tongue out at you...but HONEST I was just kidding! I'm so glad you're doing so well this time...heaven knows you deserve it! I will be SO THRILLED if you're walking in there healthy as can be on March 26 to deliver that little guy!
I thought I sensed a bit of sarcasm in that comment about missing the child birth class. Then I read your previous post and my suspicions were confirmed. Yeah, whether you've been to class or not - the baby's gonna come out! *grin*
I'm glad you're doing so well and the house is coming together...All good news!
You've got to show some pictures of the house, stuff you've bought with all that work y'all have been doing!
And you've made good progress with the pregnancy.
1. Hooray for 34! Next up: 35.
2. Ouch for Aaron. Hope it's just a sprain.
3. //and an elephant head (not a real one!)// OMG I laughed out loud when I read that.
4. Elmer was showing you his approval of the new rug. He's peeing on it & claiming it as his own. ;-)
Dawn-
Fortunately Elmer hasn't "claimed" the rug since that first time. I think Aaron was about to turn him into a rug after the first incident.
Well he doesn't need to anymore. It's already his now. ;-)
