It was surprising to find all the notes from you other bloggers...I should have known Debi would help me out with all of this by pointing support and friends in my direction! I still don't know what most of this stuff means, but I guess I'll figure it out sooner or later.
I started the day yesterday with yet another "discussion" at church about Bridges of Hope (our mission project where we feed about 150 homeless once a month). We have been doing this for about 10 months and there are of course two camps about whether we should continue due to a drain on resources and volunteers. I think we got it worked out, but it is always a discouraging process to argue about whether or not we should help others - seems pretty straight forward to me!
Then a trip to Walmart - can't beat that excitement! I don't even remember what I went for now except for one really great item - a new bathroom scale. Yipee!
We were going to head out to the Kansas City symphony and fireworks Memorial Day shindig, but I nixed that since it was supposed to rain (of course it didn't rain after all). Instead we played a game of Dread Pirate (a board game with pirate ships, treasure, the whole works). Too much excitement here!
We're heading over to Mike and Stephanie's today for a cookout and some adult beverages. It will be fun to get together and let the girls hang out.
Other projects slated for completion:
setting up my online lab for the summer (which is well past the deadline for getting it done)
getting pictures off of my camera and organized in the picture software
moving clothes from one dresser to the other (so we can sell our bedroom set)
finding a place for all of Bryn's stuffed animals in her newly arranged room
I better stop there - I am getting depressed thinking how it will take me forever just to get these few things done...

I'm with you...it sort of sounds like a no-brainer to me. The whole helping people thing, that is.
When does your summer class start? Rich's first summer session starts tomorrow, so I'm guessing you don't have much time left there... By the way, I don't think I ever asked...how do you like your laptop?
And I know you're going to feel like slapping me upside the head, 'cause you've already told me all about this, but what program are you using to organize your photos? One of these days, I really need to do something with ours.
Have fun with your friends!
Good luck organizing all your photos! I have them *organized* in so many different places that I'm feeling that they aren't *really* organized after all, LOL.
Hope y'all enjoy your day!
Class starts next Monday-I at least have a few more days to prepare!
I use the Creatvie Memories software...I can't remember the name of it offhand, but I can't say enough good things about it. It is so easy to use to edit pics and will do some really cool things.
Welcome to blogging! I think I'm late getting over after Debi pointed us this way.
My pics are so not organized! I need to work on them and having good software would help me I guess!
Have a good week!
that's so funny. i *just* finished organizing my photos yesterday! my computer had some kind of fatal error back in February & all my photos were trapped on it. thanks to a wonderful friend to whom i am now in debt forever, they were rescued & my computer was formatted. they were all immediately backed up & saved on an external drive but in complete disarray. i finally got them all sorted into their proper folders over the weekend. feels good!
any help you need figuring out your blog, ask away! i've been at this since the end of 2004 so i'm pretty familiar with Blogger. =)
