Normal stuff

Just another day here at the Reed house...

I emptied the dishwasher for what seems like the millionth time already this month (I guess I should just remind myself to be thankful that I have the dishwasher instead of doing all of my dishes by hand).

I watched grant make soupy mash out of cheerios and juice from his sippy cup - at least it kept him entertained while I emptied the dishwasher!

I used every ounce of restraint I have to keep from being sarcastic with my online students who want to know if they can get a good grade in the class when they have completed one lab out of 4 and 1 test out of 8...

Grant and I took a nice long nap.

Bryn has her last soccer game tonight. It may be the last we see of her as the wind is blowing so hard it may pick her up and carry her away. Possibly to OZ since we are in Kansas.

Grant has been doing a lot better with his sleeping, but we are still working through a rough patch or two every night. I am getting about 4-5 consecutive hours before a baby or a cat wakes me up, though. Add in naps and I am feeling better!

I am trying to do my part to help a struggling economy by getting some Christmas gifts purchased - I always think I have tons of time left and then it sneaks up on me.

I made a big cup of hot tea and sat on the couch like a bum while I watched my soap opera (of course that only lasted for about 15 minutes until Grant woke up from a nap, but it was still nice!).

I've gotten some shopping done already too!! I have to get mine done by the first week of December since most of it needs to get mailed out again.

Dawn-

I have the mailing problem, too so I generally have to have it done by mid-December at the VERY latest. I guess it does keep me from procrastinating quite so much!

Oh dear...I'm so not ready to even think about Christmas, yet I don't really have a choice! How I wish just one year I'd finally be finished with everything by Thanksgiving! I can dream, right?
Sounds like you are staying quite busy. Glad you are getting at least a bit of sleep!

Sounds like a good day! But, I can't believe you're already doing Christmas shopping! It will be after Thanksgiving and into the first week of December before I get a single thing done. We have family members who get more and more uncooperative every year about offering ideas, suggestions, lists, etc. Argh.

P.S. I LOVE the new look, that background is awesome! :)

You obviously have a vast well of self-restraint...I don't know how you all deal with that crap.

Ahh...a nice big cup of tea sounds perfectly delightful! Wish you'd have had a little more time to enjoy it!
