Busy

It is a crazy busy week here...I have something going on every night this week and through the weekend. Keeps me out of too much trouble I guess.

I did have to laugh tonight at Bryn. When I got home she was doing her homework - answering some questions about a story she read. One of the questions asked what someone meant when she said she was going to give a girl a piece of her mind. Bryn said she guessed it meant that the girl wasn't very smart. That's my literal child for you figuring people give away mind pieces to people that need some additional brains!

That is absolutely priceless! Wish someone would give me a piece of their mind...I seem to be sorely lacking these days.

Ha!
I have actually heard someone say this before, "I have the notion to give you a piece of my mind right now. But I can't afford to lose it!"
Nearly six years ago I had surgery to remove a small piece of my brain - had a seizure disorder - and I had a lot of fun for a while making jokes about losing my mind. Unfortunately, no one lets me use it as an excuse for doing stupid things anymore. LOL

I love the literalness (is that a word?) of kids...most of the time. Though it's not always so cute...like when it's coming from a "my mom is stupid, I know more than her" 14 year old!

Kinda busy here too....and I might need someone to pass out some additional brains to me at the moment! Kids are so literal sometimes aren't they!
