We had an exciting day around here...
First of all, the basement is finished! Hooray! The carpet is in, the checks have been written and the stuff is beginning its migration to new living quarters on the lower level! We will be in a state of disarray for a while as we try to find a place for everything and get it all arranged the way we want it, but it is so very nice to have it done.
Secondly, we have a potential birth date for baby boy...I have a c-section scheduled for March 26th. Of course anything can happen between now and then (my blood pressure becomes problematic, I go into labor), but if all is still well on that date then our new family member will join us then. I was kind of hoping to avoid another section, but my doc won't induce since I had a c-section before and she doesn't want me to go past 38 to 39 weeks due to my history of being such a fabulous pregnant person so here we are. Let the countdown begin!
We have another busy weekend planned. I am going to lunch and shopping with the girls tomorrow, Bryn has a birthday party to go to, we have friends coming over tomorrow night to help us move stuff and eat pizza and Bryn's playhouse should be delivered sometime tomorrow. On Sunday we have our all day childbirth class (which Aaron and I are both dreading for some reason). I suspect I'll be taking a long nap on Monday!

SO if you go spontaneously before your scheduled c-section, will they let you try the "regular" way first?
Dawn-
Yeah, I will be able to try the good old fashioned way if I want to.
Would the key words there be "if I want to"? ;-)
Big day for sure! Congrats on getting the basement done - that's great!!!
And woo-hoo just over a month left! I can't wait to see pictures of your precious little one! Don't you be moving any furniture now - take it easy and let everyone else do the work!!!
Dawn-
You've got that right! Actually I would love to not have a c-section, but I also realize there are some things I have little to no control over, so we'll do what works!
Must feel so good to have your basement finished! Hope you'll post some pictures soon!
Oh my gosh...the big day is coming sooooo quickly! Where the heck does the time go?!! And getting to 38 or 39 weeks is sure nothing to sneeze at, huh? Hope it happens for you!!! If I'm not mistaken about how far along you are, you've now managed to stay off bed rest longer than I ever did (even with Gray, my relatively easy pregnancy)...so you go, girl!!!! You're really getting there!
Yay on getting the basement done, and I'm like Debi, be sure to post pics!
And your date will be here before you know it, fun!
