I've decided to join another reading challenge...The YA Challenge 2008 hosted by Joy. The challenge is to read 12 Young Adult books in 2008. Since I already had some YA books in my pile and Debi (who never met a reading challenge she didn't join!) was participating, I decided to make my own list...
Treasure Island Robert Loius Stevenson
The Goose Girl Shannon Hale
Midnight for Charlie Bone Jenny Nimmo
Charlie Bone and the Time Twister Jenny Nimmo
Looking for Alaska John Green
Fat Camp Deborah Blumenthal
Hoot Carl Hiassen
Tale of Despereaux Kate Dicamillo
The Penderwicks Jeanne Birdsall
Tithe Holly Black
Princess Academy Shannon Hale
A Wrinkle in Time Madeleine L'Engle

Yeah, good for you! Looks like an awesome set of books, I know you'll enjoy those :)
Happy Reading!
Welcome to the YA Challenge! I've read a few off of your list and really enjoyed them. I hope all your choices turn out to be great reads! :)
Don't forget to come back and link your reviews.
Ooooh, I'm so excited you decided to join this one! I've read a few of your choices, but not many. So glad to see The Tale of Despereaux on there...I'm hoping that means that you hadn't already read it to Bryn. (Though I guess you still might have owned it.) Rich is reading Midnight for Charlie Bone right now, and seems to be enjoying it a lot. (Annie loved it, but then she rarely meets a book she doesn't like so she's not always the best judge, if you know what I mean.) I'll be reading The Goose Girl soon, too...I've heard really good things about it, so I have high hopes. Anyway, can't wait to read your reviews! (I think I've become a book review junkie...and if I'd quit spending so much time reading reviews, I might actually get more books read!)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
