New Reading Challenge

I got so excited about finishing Annie's reading challenge for this year I had to go check out the What's in a Name 2 challenge for next year. Which got me so excited that I then spent an hour compiling my new list (I wasn't very good at sticking to my list last year so I listed a couple of options for some categories in case I change my mind):

Book with a profession in the title:

The Yiddish Policemen's Union by Michael Chabon
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Book with a time of day in the title:

Midnight for Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Book with a relative in the title:

The Favoured Child by Philippa Gregory
The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman (also an option for profession title)

Book with a body part in the title:

An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon (this one is supposed to be published next fall...)

Book with a building in the title:

Kabul Beauty School by Deborah Rodriguez

Book with a medical condition in the title:

The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood
What the Dead Know by Laura Lippman

Change your mind as much as you want! Though it looks like you've got a great line up there.

And congrats on finishing up the first one! I'm so bad...I'm not even close yet. :(

Oh, and by the way, no need to pass along Snow Flower. I went and bought that right after I read your review. Of course, I still haven't read it...need to change that, don't I?

My daughter is wanting to start those Twilight books, but I think she's trying to finish classes/exams/comps first!

I love that under medical condition you have "dead". That made me crack up! It's totally true, but still really funny.

You have some great picks. Thanks for reminding me I need to read The Yiddish Policeman's Union. :)

I liked the Charlie Bone series. I haven't heard of many of the others, though.
