Actually, I think it's because this is a whole generation of kids that has been raised by helicopter parents who have swooped in to rescue them and fix all that is broken. So when they "break something" they don't want to "pay to fix it" cause they've never had to.

Just my opinion.

SusanSusanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13734191407051735127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2435668536950040148.post-87745315476864904642008-09-19T07:04:00.000-05:002008-09-19T07:04:00.000-05:00Rrrgh. I am *still* paying for mine) and I rarely missed a class or slacked off on my work. Unlike those students that had someone else footing the bill.~**Dawn**~https://www.blogger.com/profile/06179560051128719637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2435668536950040148.post-72378638092709211432008-09-16T05:46:00.000-05:002008-09-16T05:46:00.000-05:00Rich had a student just show up for class yesterda...Rich had a student just show up for class yesterday for the first time. We were sort of wondering, do you think that falls in the excused or unexcused absence column?Debihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15429881953804634592noreply@blogger.com
